Consultus Care and Nursing Ltd. is the UK’s leading live-in private care agency and we are looking to add to our quality team of private Carers who work for short periods in the U.K. You would live in the Client’s home with assignments typically lasting for two to four weeks at a time.
What does it take to be a Carer?
Kindness, integrity, patience, common sense and some practical skills. We know that our Carers are as special as the people they look after.
We offer training, guidance and support, so whether you are an experienced Carer or looking to start a new career, we have the team to support you.
What will you be doing?
- Private live-in caring is all about offering `one-to-one’ help and support;
- Providing compassionate, practical, hands-on support
- Help with feeding, bathing and day-to-day living
- Housekeeping
- Offering companionship
And we are always very careful how we match our Carers to clients to make sure you will get along.
Working through Consultus you can expect;
- £868 - £1330 per two week assignment plus travel costs (when in the U.K.)
- Double the daily rate of pay for all Bank Holidays and occasional days over the Christmas and New Year period
- Meals and accommodation whilst on assignment
- In-house training and development opportunities
