Please does anyone know what will be on my Haras Nationaux papers when I register my horse once over here? He is an AQHA UK passported...not bothered about registering with the AQHA FR, but just wondered if all documentation on UK passport automatically transfers to HN, i.e Father TB Mother AQH etc? Thanks in advance.

Hi - your horse will retain it's existing passport - your vet will do new 'markings charts' in french (?) and these pages are sent with your registration application paperwork and your passport to the HN - the HN will staple these pages into your passport on top of the original markings chart. You will also receive a separate 'certificate' with your horse's french registration details, including it's french SIRE number, catagory, etc.

I'm not sure if the AQH is 'recognised' here or not, sorry - maybe someone else will know?

If AQH is American Quarter Horse - they are recognised in France - its just the issue af part breds the french dont seem to like.
