I have a French mobile, SFR for which I pay 25 euros for 2 months' credit. If I haven't used it all up, which I usually haven't then I lose it. I've been told that Leclerc have a pay as you go SIM which works like my UK Vodaphone - I pay £20 and the credit is good for as long as it takes me to use it. (Expensive if using in France tho') I've looked on the Leclerc website, there seem to be a few options. what I'd like to know is - has anyone changed their French mobile phone from SFR SIM card to Leclerc and did they lose their SFR number and have to have a new number from Leclerc? I understand I can pay 14,50 euros for the Leclerc SIM and then credit is good for a year. But do I get a new number, which I have to pay for? Or can I still keep my previous mobile number.
