Hi i have after 2 days of trying managed to catch this dog with the help of one of mine , he is a spinger spaniel x he is brown and white with a long tail and is entire , he does not seem undernurished he is very friendly , i put a colar and lead on him and he walks very quietly no pulling , and he took no notice of 2 of my cats , not sure whether he has wondered of looking for ladies and has got lost or has been dumped , i live in a small hamlet called Le Breuil between Ambernac and St Laurent de Ceris D345, i have put him in my shed tonight with a bed food and water , with the best will in the world i can not keep him as i have 3 and also have other peoples dogs here , i will get in touch with HOPE tomorrow , and if i can take him to the vets to see if he has a microchip , if you know of anyone who has lost a dog of this discription please get in touch either by e-mail or 05.45.31.43.55

Best of luck finding the owners, I expect he has been dumped. You probably sawy the story on here of Amy, so I don't hold out much hope that anyone is looking for him.

Thanks guys , yes i think he has been dumped , it makes my blood boil , he is so friendly dear chap , but he does has the runs poor boy , i am going to take him for a walk round in a minuet and see if anyone knows him and the vets this afternoon to see if microchiped .

Hi All took Beau ( his new name ) to the vets this afternoon and what a surprise not chiped !!! , the vet said he is about 6 or 7, jumped in the car no trouble a very easy dog , the vet gave him lots of medicine the usual wormer , frontline and 2 lots of medicine for his upset tummy , he had an accident in the car while i went back in to pay the vet , he had the runs all over the back of the car and the front seats , gear stick , hand break omg what a mess but poor boy could not help it , nice job for me when i returned home lol , i asked the vet if i could get him netured but he told me i had to wait 1 month in case his owner turned up , like that is going to happen , the vet said to go the the mairie tomorrow and see if they will take him for 1 week and then perhaps the SPA , not sure i want him to go there but it will be very difficult for me to keep him , heart v head . Had a look on Chien-perdu but could not see him .
