Anyone heard of any Insurances or 'scholarships'....don't really know what they are......going bust or losing money on the stock exchange in France?

The reason I ask is that a French couple that were going to sign first part of contract for buying our house next week, have now said they don't have enough money! 3 months wasted to get to this I am gutted!! Apparently their money was there 3 months ago but now it isn't.....anyone have any ideas, .

Presumably you've already asked your notaire and agent (if using one) who will give you a full explanation.

You can't do anything about it I'm afraid as they haven't yet signed the compromis.
