we have good friends coming in september both seafood lovers can anyone recommend one of the seafood restaurants on the quay at la rochelle please.

cheers...........................we are looking to share one of those seafood platters.

We go to the La Marine Restaurant in La Rochelle. It's very good. We like good and reasonable priced food,so, I know you will enjoyit here.

You will find it on the right hand side, if you are walking from the bridge and heading towards the Towers. Just before the arch way to the old Town. It has a blue canopy outside.

We take a friend there every year and have the Fruit De Mer (Seafood Platter) and she is fussy about what she will eat, so they take some of the things off and add more of what she likes on the platter. You will need to tell them as you order, but they are really helpful.

We had La Marée (just opposite the aquarium) recommended by French friends and we've always found it to be excellent
