Caravan site
Isle d'Oleron, a site to the north of the island at a small village called Chassiron. The site, of 45 substantial itches, takes tents, caravans and camper vans, showers, laundry facilities and electricity are available on request.
Beautiful clifftop walks and shell fish from the rocks at low tide. Be early as the locals are quick onto the rocks at low tide for oysters, winkles, welks, cockles etc.
Hi. If you google Yelloh villages. They have lots of campsites along the coast, and also near Bordeaux. They have mobile homes and tents for hire and pitches for tents and camping cars. All usually have swimming pools, bars and restaurants with optional activities available. I have stayed at many of the Yelloh village sites, and have found them all to be good quality. Hope this helps. Bonne Vacances! KMH.
