Having lived near Melle for nearly 11 years I knew of Open Door but had never visited. I did think it was purely support for bereavement, crisis ect. But I went along last week as I live nearer and to my surprise it was not just an office but a place where people meet up each week for coffee a chat, borrowing books and dvd's from their vast selection. There is a court yard garden to meet up with people or rooms inside for relaxing and reading. Even a lady who spoke fluent french that helped me with an autoentrepeneur problem I had.

Tuesday and Wednesday morning for the drop in centre......hats off to Lynn and her team!

Forgot to mention it is in Civray.

It's a great facility, brilliant that we've got such a good library stuck out here in the sticks - so glad we've got it !

I also discovered Open Door after living here for a long time. I live 40 km away, and try not to miss my weekly visit. As you said, not just books and CD's. Compliments to all
