Translation of Birth Cert for CPAM

Haltoll10 writes in General

Does anyone know a Traductor who is recognised by CPAM and how much this might be please?

Beware as not all those advertisers are on the approved list of "Traducteurs assermentés" and French officialdom will insist that you use one who is.

David Dyson is there and I've seen him recommended by people.

Why would you wish to translate a birth certificate? It is all names, that cannot be translated.ie....Salisbury.....is just that. Swindon...is just that. Birminghgam....is just that. Then there is your name and family names....how will they be translated? Emily....is just that.....Barbara....is just that. Are you absolutely sure it needs translating? I am thinking you are wasting a heavy fee for nothing. We have been here many, many years and have NEVER had to have our birth certificates nor marriage certificate translated for anyone including CPAM,nor even for when we had to have the old identity card. I am baffled! Don't waste good money.
