Just been trying to navigate my way around the for sale ads, and cannot find anyone answering the ads.......is it me?

Advert answering I expect now only goes directly to the advertiser and no longer for general consumption.

A much improved service if you ask me especially as it has a place for price and location. 

We have tried to make our Classifieds work much more like traditional classifieds rather than just being forums postings. There is now a neat, templated structure which matches the type of Classified and we are allowing you to upload up to six images without charge.

Users can reply to a Classified in a couple of ways. If the poster has provided an email address in their Classified, they can be contacted via a prominent orange button saying “Make Enquiry” at the bottom of their ad, which will allow the user to contact them by email. They can add a phone number to their Classified if they prefer to be contacted by phone. Posters can also be contacted via the link on their new user profile.

as the adverts can also be marked as SOLD once sold I can't see the need to be able to see who has enquired about any item., if you want it ask.

I agree a much much better system.

It only makes sense if the poster bothers to say where they are and state the price.  

I like to see the replies as it helps to see all the enquires to the product the is being sold
