Considering using the Eurolines coach service from Niort to Victoria next month - looking at the map/satellite picture on the website - the pick up point looks to be in the middle of a field!!!

This is the address they give - Echangeur 11 - Niort Est sur A83 anciennement "La Crêche"

It seems to be where the A83 joins the A10 - has anyone used it - is it just a bus stop in the open or is there anything there - thinking about if I have to wait around if the weather's inclement

I don't know where the bus stop is, but we went there recently to collect a parcel.  It is a huge commercial estate.

I have just spent an hour, turning everything NSEW and in French.

The indications and green arrow on the plan of the site give Echanger 32 on the A10 but if you enlarge and go to Echangeur 11 on the A83 it does not give a detail of the actual parking spot!

Either go beforehand and ask where the Euroline coach stops ie - at a local petrol station or elsewhere just off the Echangeur 11 OR ring Paris and tell them the site is a mess and not at all up-to-date!  Everywhere else indicates a coach or train parking for the Euroline arrêts!

The Echanger 11 is on the A83 from Niort, just before it joins the A10 so I suggest you go and see and enquire for yourself!!  Take a printed copy of the actual site plan to give an idea of the traffic direction on the autoroute so that you can get off.

Hopefully someone will come along that has used the service (there have been quite a few mentions of it on the forum in the past) - otherwise as you say - either a trip up there in advance or some phone calls I guess

Trust me to want the only pick up point that appears to be in the middle of nowhere!!
