A friend of ours recently sold a tiny piece of land for 3K and the Notaires bill was over 1.4K
It appears that there is a minimum state charge for taxes irrespective of the small value from the sale.

will give you the figures re notaires charges etc, If buying through an agent then they should be able to tell you how much they charge. Then add the two together!

They wish! Their bit is a very small portion, the majority goes to RF as taxe, the Notaire just collects it.
