Hi
I am asking for a friend.......she has quit bad disabilities, lung and bone problems which mean she is really very limited in what she can do. If she was i the UK she would be eligable for disability living and carers allowances....does anyone know where her first port of call would be to get this recogised. It would also help her even if all she was allowed was a disabled car parking allocation!

You don't state where you are, so I can only advise a visit to her Mairie. I would refer you to my reply to another posting on this forum.

Download the form at www.solidarite.gouv.fr/IMG/pdf/CM_MDPH_2009.pdf

and send to the "Maison Departmentale des personnes handicapées " -or perhaps better go to the Mairie at Mirambeau or Montendre on the day when the agent of the social comes for a "permanance", taking the completed form with you, and find out what other steps are needed.
